| Modernbook Gallery represents artists that span from emerging to mid-career. Their techniques may fall in the tradition of darkroom practices; venture into the realm of alternative or mixed media; or experiment with digital technology. In addition to the gallery space in the historic 49 Geary gallery building, our publishing division, Modernbook Editions, has published photographic monographs for artists such as Tom Chambers, Fan Ho, Brigitte Carnochan, Fred Lyon, Geir Jordahl, among others. To connect with art enthusiasts, outside the San Francisco Bay Area, Modernbook Gallery remains active in numerous domestic and international art fairs. |
